Just seen RVW's loan move could earn City £7.25m
St Entienne will pay £1.25m up front, they will pay his wages for this season & if he is a success there they have an option to buy him for £6m and City would also get 20% of any future transfer fee if he was sold on

Very, very good business. I still think it's a shame we aren't keeping him this season but this is a very handy alternative for all parties (Mostly ours!)

Think we are losing a good player who lost his form & confidence under the previous manager. This has happened to some of the other players last season, you only have to look at Bassong & Snodgrass to see they were not the players they used to be last season. IMO Wes should have been played more often last season and would have created more chances for RVW to score last season

With Grabben and Lafferty coming in someone had to go and I would rather keep Hooper if it was a straight choice

Straight to the point and you're absolutely right. It seems Adams is happy with Loza and Redmond as back up should they be needed. Can't see Becchio lasting til the end of the window. If he does he better get some game time. He's not a bad player and he has had a torrid time of it so far.

RvW clearly was not enthusiastic about playing in the Championship. Excellent solution for all concerned.
