Blue_Mountain_Bear has expressed some concern on the Bring Back The Jak thread that Canada Tiger hasn't been posting recently. I've been in touch with him and he's fine. Apparently he's having problems logging on and his long time password seems to have gone AWOL with attempts to re-enrol proving unsuccessful. At the moment he's following the board but is currently unable to contribute. His predictive powers are still very strong though. When we saw him a in September he was predicting (highly unlikely) snow at Christmas on balmy SaltSpring Island and, on the strength of this, was inviting the family up from California. Amazingly he's got it right and is currently snowed in with the road up to his lovely house impassable. We shouldn't worry though, he has seen The Revenant and knows all about surviving the Canadian winter as long as he can find a horse to sleep in.
He can't reenact it until he gets brutally attacked by a bear before killing it. Come on CT, hurry up...
As you're reading this Canada i have to say the Jak is really really slow with poor reflexes. Little in the way of foot movement or anticipation. Marshall is by far the better keeper. Dont you agree?? Whats that I cant here you? I'll take that as we agree on this Only joking mate. Some tecchie on here will help
Yeah it's snowing in paradise, poor dears. A winter on the prairie will open your eyes ... but I love it, even if it is minus very nasty temps.
No complaints from CT about the weather though - only problem he sees is the temporary inability to post.
I wasn't suggesting that he was complaining. It was more of an observation that snow and cold weather is unusual in the Gulf Islands whereas snow bitterly cold temps are a given on the prairie. Kind of a silly we're tougher than they are comment. Although I love it here, I'd move to Saltspring or Vancouver Island, given the opportunity.
It's certainly does get hyper cold in your parts - let's hope that City can warm your cockles during the next few months.
I hope so too. Certainly, yesterday's performance was a definite improvement even if the dropped points were a bit of a bummer.
My thanks to my friend Bill (Der Alte) for bringing my sad plight to OLM's attention, and to him for getting me back posting. It was frustrating to watch our much improved performance against Palace and not being able to comment and vote for MOM. Anyhow good to be back...but I'm still snowed in here (maybe I'll have to kill a bear after all ).
Thanks guys. Its good to be back. Looks like the Jak/Marshall debate has kicked up a notch in my absence.
