Hi Chaps, Just having a ponder about this and that, and thought about the £100 odd million that Pulis has spent (as you do). I appreciate that we do not know the inside info on any of the transfers, but can you think of any player that Pulis has bought, with the exception of Begovic, that we have outbid or have been involved in a bidding war with. Take the £4.5 million for Whitehead as an example, not exactly queuing up were they?? Because I can't. Not to mention resale value Oh bugger
Conspiracy theory #2 - 'Arry wanted Begovic at Spurs and was pretty sure that he had signed him up, Instead Bego comes to jolly old Stoke. NOT to be outdone, 'Arry decides to stitch up his old mate Pulis, so he sells him Crouch, cos he knows Tone can't resist a trophy purchase and is breathing heavily at the thought of Crouchy in his greasy mitts. Soooooo, good old 'Arry says, awright me owd mucka, course you can have Crouchy, bargain at £10Million, BUT ye have got to take Palacios as well, only £8Million to an old mate. Who knows?
