Oliver Denton won one of the top three spots in the contest while holding up a sign that read: ‘I touch kids’. Despite the sign, which also had ‘I love Jimmy Savile’ penned across it, the judges selected him as one of their winners. Following a number of comments from outraged locals – the Chairman of Cromer Carnival claimed the panel were ‘not aware that Mr Oliver was entering as Harris’. The 29-year-old reportedly claimed he was dressed up as an artist, but signed his canvas with ‘R Harris’. Diddle diddle diddle umm!
