Sorry to bother you guy's, but can anyone help me please ?

I am soon to travel from Middlesbrough to Shropshire, Willoughbridge to be exact, which is in between Stoke-on-Trent Centre and Market Drayton, I am told.

.. I won't be travelling by car, so it's either by coach or train.

It looks as though by train is the quickest option, however, Google is showing Stoke-on Trent as the nearest station to my destination. Does anyone know this area at all to confirm if this information is accurate ?

Willoughbridge, I'm informed, is roughly 9 miles south/west of Stoke-on-Trent Centre.

It looks like It'll be expensive trek this , ie, probably train, bus and taxi.

    Any advice guys please ?

Not sure where Willoughbridge is exactly, but as Smithers says, there is a bus from Newcaslte to Market Drayton, the number 164. Can't think of the bus to get you from Stoke rail station to Newcaslte bus station, but a taxi should only be a fiver.

I recommend you do a search on travellinemidlands.co.uk, I've relied on that site a few times

The 25 will get you from the station to Newcastle bus station in ~15 minutes and runs every 20 minutes, the 24 takes a bit longer. You need to cross the road outside the station. The bus company is FirstPlus, and they have a pretty comprehensive website.
