Had a moderate 1st half misplacing a few passes which is unusual for him but was best player on the pitch in the 2nd...

I just wish he tried more shots on goal. We get about one per game and its usually ****. Oh, maybe that's why...?

Hey, don't get me wrong Col - you should know that I'm a big fan of the guy. I've always particulary admired his vision. He knows to whom he's going to pass the ball the second he receives it and rarely gets it wrong. I don't think it harsh to, however, to ask more from him. He possesses a great shot and should be encouraged to use it more.

Fair enough mate. I thought he was simply outstanding in the 2nd half!! Won so many tackles and made so many interceptions, it was incredible!!

Is that you Neil?? I don't know about superb, we were decent today. Good point at a difficult place. With every other team picking up a point today it was important we didn't fall further behind.

Taarabt was man of the match not Faurlin FFS. Everything that he did was neat and tidy, always found a man with his passes, seldom caught in possession.

I'd agree with that Kerry. With Barton well involved as well, we looked like we had a bit of an attacking midfield for a change. That seemed to reduce the Swans forward and passing play and kept them well on the back foot.

As for Faulin bashers... please! He's okay, put in some good stops and played some incisive forward passes - but so did others. I was surprised Ali got MotM.

Agree with the first part of this. I wish the guy had the confidence to have a shot more often, rather than always playing the ball sideways. I think it's pure and simply a confidence issue. Something else which bothers me is that he always apologises straight afterwards on the rare occasions when he does take a shot, even if it only fractionally misses.. Don't apologise mate, if get a decent chance have a pop and don't worry about it!

Taarabt our best player, he's got so much in his locker it's frightening. Check his stats for today, passes, success rate in the final third was incredible!

I think the whole midfield done well in the second half but were again giving to many bad passes in the first. I rekon a good box to box cm in there with ali and we'd get the best out of him i still think he's got to improve a lot before any of the big boys will come knocking

Great 2nd half! There were many M o M contenders today for me - Adel, Ali, Joey, Mackie, Traore, Clint, Hall were all superb. Neil too, except I'd like to have seen SWP given a run at em the last 20 minutes, or is he not 100% fit? We should be ok if we can reinforce the central defense Jan and play like 2nd half.
