Some fans don't want to move to the UWE am I reading this right all the years of trying to get a new stadium and some are worried that their will be no atmosphere I suggest they stay away then if that's the case http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/114257-am-i-mad/
I prefer terracing but its a new ground a proper stadium with top facilities something that could takes on to better things and who knows we might end up having the safe standing area one day in the future.
Let's face it seamge - his statement about atmosphere is nonsense, if a crowd make a noise in a covered stadium , it'll create an atmosphere. Also his 'Ragbag Rovers' comment is crap - we've achieved **** all mainly because we've always been a ragbag, nomadic club. The new stadium gives us as amazing opportunity to progress. We all know we could be quite a big club - our away support and the numbers we took to the Millenium and Wembley stadiums are proof of this. As is the fact that we still average over 6k as a 4th tier club fighting relegation.
the atmosphere at brighton i have been told is quality. the company who built that stadium is building ours. i am 100% sure that the stadium noise (acoustics) will be well thought of in the plans. i havent been to an away game for a while but when i was going to away games in all seater stadiums, the atmosphere that we created was top notch and the acoustics was not lost and thats just by a few hundred fans. when we took a couple of thousand to away games we sounded like the home team. i have no idea where the OP is coming from to be honest. i suspect this person is not good with change!
if any gashead really dont want to move to uwe then they truely have no idea that it is needed and why its needed.
