Can we stop blaming Torres now?

Clearly the issue lies with the midfield. Drogba was a complete ghost in the second half, same as Torres in the first.

I would bet my house that Drogba will score next to no goals in the next few games, the service to the central strikers has been terrible from the midfield.

Drogba is still the better option you must admit though. I fully agree all our problems stem from our midfield, but look at it:

    Ramires - Box to box
    Essien - Box to box
    Miereles - Box to Box
    Lampard - Passer, goal scorer.
Mikel - Passer, cover for defence.
Romeu - Passer, cover for defence.

Not one creative passer. 3 box to boxes? Wow.

Ideally we need a left sider creater, to fit into a - // - Romeu - Ramires - formation, IF we play 4-3-3, which I believe is an outdated formation.

Same here Drogs. Panic buy if ever there was one. IMO we need 2 quick wide players, a right back, couple of creative midfielders and a striker who scores. Also a keeper who will push Cech.

Courtios fits the bill. Stunning 1st season so far for Atletico.

We had a creativer midfielder in Josh McEachran, but in true fashion we've loaned him out to one of our rivals!

He's not an awful player but you need someone beside him to get the best out of him, it's as if we're expecting him to do all the creative work as well as travel box-to-box.

I'm guessing this summer there'll be a massive clear out.

Because he's mates with AVB - that's the main reason.

But to be fair - he was excellent for Liverpool and scored a fair few goals.

Can we let Torres out of Curtis Davies' pocket now?

Thankfully there was room for Drogba in there as well.

Because Essien was injured and Romeu had not played and we had no clue if he was ready or not.

Why do you think every manager who has had Josh has played him in a deeper role if he's so good creatively? I hold my hands up and say that they know better than I do.

Give it a rest! So we spent £12m on a quick fix for 6 months? We already had Mikel, Lamps and Ramires and Josh was more than capable of stepping if something happened to them aswell as Malouda and Mata being able to play centrally.

There was a lot better methods than wasting £12m <doh>

Every manager? Only Carlo played him deep a couple of times and he hasn't quite got the ability to tackle due to his lack of strength, AVB has played him about twice/3 times and every time it's been in the middle.
