We do I think have an exemplary record of getting managers the sack. I think tonight, a defeat can be served on Blackburn, anda P45 for the cretin Steve Kean to follow... UTT
i thought they would have just got rid of him in the summer instead of letting him bring players in..., would seem strange to do it if they suffered 1 defeat, but who knows in this day and age
A defeat tonight woulndn't see Kean out of the job, though he may be in trouble by the international break if they haven't won a game. Can't understand why he wasn't sacked over the summer to be honest.
He would have been sacked by now if the owners had the slightest idea what they were doing, but I can't see him being sacked tonight, whatever the result.
the last time we got a blackburn boss sacked they replaced him with dalglish who got them promoted and won the league for them. that's the last thing we want to happen.
I don't think he will be there much longer and a city win won't help. I'd hate being in his position, thou he is taking it well.
If we did win tonight then it does put Kean in a very difficult position, but he just doesn't seem to get the message, he must be very thick skinned to put up with the abuse he'd had and will get tonight if this happened.
I think he's under massive pressure, no fans are behind him, Shebby Singh said he needed to win his first 3 (I don't think that is far from the truth TBH) so an opening day draw and defeat tonight, with a back drop of discontent amongst the natives and dwindling crowds, I can very much see him getting the sack when we win!
There's one thing being sacked for doing a bad job, but the over reaction Kean gets from the Blackburn fans is pathetic. You'd have thought he was a serial killer the way they're attacking him. It's not just him it's football in general now. It happens all too regularly.
