Right now it doesn't look as if we will bring in any new players to strengthen our squad before these 2 vital home games. Even if we do it tomorrow it will take some time before they are on the same page as Sean and they can only expect a seat on the bench. So do we have enough good players to get 6 points that are so vital, if not a must, to our survival chances and do you think Sean has had enough time to change the player attitude from totally sub-par to a game winning frame of mind? We're living a dangerous existence right now and unless changes happen soon we all know the possibilities lying in front of us. Let's hope for the positive scenarios and not be too pessimistic - right!
These 2 games will determine if we stay up or not IMO we could be as far as 13 points away from safety which will be to much to catch up on. Or we could be 1 point from safety with that game in hand still. Goes without saying really but consistency is the key. Think we need our starting 11 and to only change due to form or injuries. A same back 4 would be the start and I would play the same team who faced Leeds but changing Taylor with either Baldock or Davies as if you put Taylor or Stead up front you're not going to score. We need goal scorers in the team because as I've said many of time, With the defence we have we already go into the game 1-0 down. Got a good feeling about the next 2 games and a 6 points is achievable..... Hopefully.
Thought because teams we're knocked out of the F.A cup they we're playing as well? Maybe wrong though
Six poinys would put a whole new complexion on life and put every one back in a positive frame of mind. Does the weather look good back there because another game in hand is not what we need, just the six points.
We are probably just about capable of beating Ipswich but I cant see us getting anything at all out of the Watford game. I'm afraid we wont get more than 3 points from these 2 games and possibly only 1. 6 points would make things look a lot better I agree, I just dont think we can get them
I think 4 points from these 2 games, and probably another point from the Blackburn game. Problem is that as welcome as these points will be given the paucity of them this season, it will in all likelihood not be enough.
Don't know if anyone else caught it, but in an interview the other week, SOD said he "knows the way Neil plays and I have always liked him" (or words to that effect). Get onboard guys, the boss loves the guy you all love to hate!
I have never rated Kilkenny, and at this point I wish he did sign him for Doncaster then he wouldn't be here. But if he does improve under SoD I would be really pleased to be proved wrong
