PL - I too fear they will be more up for it - I hope I am wrong - I'll play safe and say we may nick a draw.
A draw would be good. Carlisle need the points more than we appear to do, judging by our last few performances. Hope we go there for the win, but I doubt we will
Don't take any notice, Sarfampton put out their first 11 and Carlisle played their under 14's otherwise it would have been a lot closer. Their Manager said afterwards "If only I had used my 15's we could have gone all the way". Please don't feel as if you have to save anything for Monday......
Think it's more making the point that whenever a team beats one of your youth teams, you always have sour grapes and attempt to belittle their achievements by saying your team was full of 12 year olds Anyhow, I'm going to be optimistic and believe we will win!!!!
I was almost going to do a linked predictive thread for that answer. There's another version with the Pathé news intro floating about somewhere.
I'm a bit perplexed by Greeny's apparent dislike of Saints, I can only remember playing them a handful of times in my lifetime (perhaps because we have spent almost all of it in the top division!) Maybe it's because he lives in a larger city than ours, whose football team have always underachieved......
Chorley off injured. Replaced by Nosworthy, off injured, replaced by Webster. Devera treated for injury.
