With all the positive exposure we are getting at the moment will we be able to keep this group of players together.

If not who will go and what sort of figures will be needed to persuade SL to part with them.

We need to sign not sale, don't think any player will want away at present.

We have to remember they have only come good this year, let's see what their like after two/three consecutive seasons.

I'm surprised reinforcements have not arrived yet.

Surely the club want too take this big opportunity presented this year.

Flint for me. If we really do have any ambition to finish as high as possible we must keep him!

And I mean must.. absolute icon.

Don't think LJ or SL will rush into selling anyone that are felt important to our cause this season unless it's an offer that will allow us to get much better players in. Come the summer if we haven't gained promotion, then I feel some will move on..

Surely if Premier League teams come in for anyone , whoever they are , we'd be hard pushed to get in their way, both for the sake of the player, and any other young players we are looking to persuade to sign, on which case what sort of figure do you think would we accept?

What what sort of offers do you feel would justify accepting to allow us to bring in better players ? And for which players .

Who honestly do you think would hold down a prem position, consistently.

    For me none.

As with every club I feel we lack on strikers, cover for central midfield and maybe cover for defense..
Offers would depend on what we could buy to improve our team...that's what I would base it on personally.....do we want 10 Mil in the bank or players that can improve the side to stand a chance of promotion?....if we do that, then 10 mil is just pocket money!!

The way LJ set up last night and the general philosophy of his play I'd say he was more important than any of the players.
LJ to his eternal credit is gelling a group of decent, some better some ordinary, players into a very good team.
A bit churlish to knock anyone at BCFC today.

    Disagree with you there..
Bryan, Paterson, Flint, Smith, would hold their own in the Prem to name just a few, Possibly Brownhill, Walsh & Wright......
    Taylor your Fav......very unlikely!!

I take it then your reply to my question about keeping this group of players together is yes , as no premier league teams will bid and we shouldn't accept any figure from championship team regardless how much they offer.

RR means well but does quite often talk BS!! I'm sure after the performances v Man U & Man C there will be clubs from the Prem that would be interested in a few..

the price is right! and to answer how many could hold down a prem place? depends on the team and the players he is with. Bolasie made it, Albert made it Heaton and a few other ex city have Tammy surprisingly only seems to make sub appearances.. maybe we should have a word with Conte offer him £7m expect to pay 9 or 10!

And the window has been open for a week with still three weeks to go. We got someone in early with rumours of more to come. You are aware it’s not a cash and carry system with loads of players stuck in a warehouse waiting to be picked up aren’t you?

I'm sure if we do get anymore in they will be ' under the radar' players.
As for Tammy , I believe a further year in a top championship team would have been better than a struggling prem club , but hey what do I know, I wanted rid of Lee last year.

The amount of people who’ve said to me “that number 20 is some player” is mounting up, and that’s from both games.

A wolves fan said not only the sending off derailed us it was subbing Paterson.

And we are all aware of the praise Bryan, Flint and Reid are getting. I know you think Reid is not as good as Taylor but this season playing in a different role has done him the world of good.

So perhaps 4 with I think Baker as well could go on. Maybe not top 8 but the others might come sniffing.

Even mentioned on Talk Sport last night that Stoke ought to try and get LJ last night.
