I am a glass half empty guy but I am beginning to believe that we will stay up after this weekend's results including Bolton being beaten again today. It is a straight battle between 4 clubs (sorry Wolves). I think that we are beginning to come good at the right time with Diakite and Taiwo looking better with every game. We have Liverpool, Arsenal and United out of the way. City will have nothing to play for and we have nothing to fear from Chelsea. I would fancy our chances at home to Spurs. Lets take the game to the others, Swansea, West Brom and Stoke. Roll on Wednesday night. A win and we have momentum which is vital at this stage of the season.
Believe that we will finish 17th right behind BB. Guess the 8 points (Swansea 3, Stoke 3, Spurs & WBA 1) will be enough to do the job.
We'll win our three home games meaning we're practilly safe, then a surprise on the road and a happy summer for all of us
Of course we can; the question surely is will we? So far this week results have gone our way, swimmingly so, except for OT. When other teams results stop going our way, then it's up to us unaided. We won't know until the last day of the season. I'm confident, but not overconfident. Let's not use the must win phrase ( there, I've gone and done it again). We always seem to lose those.
I'm still confident we will stay up. I'm hearing some rumours from various sources that there will be heavy investment on the first team if we do.
This is really hard. Some weeks ago,I posted that we might be ok because we will continue to improve whilst others are what they are. However, it is so hard to keep faith consistently. Just when hope blooms (Liverpool), it then fades (Sunderland)! I feel like the hurt puppy who finds it hard to trust again after so many disappointments and false starts. Whichever way, Wednesday is critical!
