His crosses are infuriating, aren't they. Nothing riles me like seeing a Brady 'cross' balloon into the stands
they're either skied in row z or they're soft passes to the first defender. I don't understand what's going. This has been going for a couple season and he's still taking set pieces??? what the ****.
I can't remember the last time we had a decent crosser of the ball. Robertson can certainly hit one on the move but should he take over corners and free-kicks? He surely can't be any worse than Huddlestone and Brady.
Seriously though did he actually take one today? I don't remember one. Brady's crossing was really good today. In fact he'll be in my top 3 for motm.
Every expert on the planet would recommended Seb Larson for that. Every Sunderland fan wouldn't. Sick of ****e Corners.
Huddlestone can take a good free kick, as can Jelavic, so injury aside, why dont they take the corners when it's fundamentally the same? Similarly, Elmo is a great crosser, so why doesn't he take them?
Cause Elmo is an absolute menace in the box, at least he was when he was with us, good with his head and makes defenders work, I'd want him in the box for corners.
(Warning: grumpy comment ahead.) Can someone please teach posters on here how to use the thread title box appropriately when starting a thread? (Don't say I didn't warn you!)
I don't remember Brady taking a corner yesterday either, it was Ben Arfa taking them until he went off and Huddlestone took a couple, he certainly can't have taken many.
What we need is ANYBODY who can take a decent corner or set piece . The mind boggles as to what they do in training , or maybe they are great then but can't reproduce it when it counts
