i read the title guru and thought you were talking about treacle to be fair, thats not a bad amount of season tickets sold, even if he's completely missed the point as to why its lower than before
Also, doesn't Clegg have the sort of smug look across his face that you would like to remove with an iron bar!

I can't believe he actually came out and said that he was surprised it was so high! what in the name of gods green earth was he thinking! is he saying that whoever has renewed are idiots? that he wouldn't in their shoes? This is almost in the Gerald Ratner school of sales!
Hardly a vote of confidence is it! They have sold 7,000 less than in Joe Royle's time at the club FFS!
Well it's been a steady decline over a decade and before Clegg came along. People on the whole aren't voting with their feet and with three months of sales still left perhaps it's bottomed out at 13,000.
