Adel Trabant.....!! I initially critisiced him for not being good enough for the prem league, and was told how wonderfull he really was and what he could do. it wasnt his fault= crap players around him played out of position bad manager joey barton wrong colour boots oppo too good no freedom moon in the wrong phase of saturn..... Thank you Adel, you have restored my faith in .....myself...I now realise that i DO know what i'm talking about when it comes to football..... He's had a great end of season; pre-season with a fantastic team and managers around him...and...was widely regarded as the worst player on the pitch yesterday...... I knew he wasn't good enough...just wish I'd never let you lot make me buy into the "he could be but..." bulls**t.... Really really wish we'd taken that 16 mill from france now.... He cannot do it...how much will it take for you lot to see that....I have Liverpool freinds telling me that & i cannot defend him... OK..no one was good yesterday...but he put on a terrible performance....Hoping he joins Joey B in jan TBH But ..I'll expect another range of excuses whio saw he pwerform well in the Championship......ala kevin Phillips, robbie savage, tommy smith and all those others who could cut it at top end.....! I'm off to get my tin hat now..got one for you too Swords... Sorry, i just call it as i see it !!
What a load of garbage. If you couldn't see that Green, Onouha, Fabio and Cisse were all far worse than Taarabt then you really ought to stop watching!!
Cheers mate. That OP made me laugh. Not surprised that COL was the first to jump on you either! Whilst I wouldn't go as far as you, I never understood people praising a player when he's done nothing in the game to date. I really hope he comes good but Zinedine Zidane he ain't!
He was by far NOT the worst player for us yesterday. Personally my top 3 (in order) would be Green, Green and Green.
Can't really blame Cisse, he was up front totally alone with no service. The other three however were certainly far worse than Taarabt.
Yeh definite! Seemed to me that Green's nervousness corroded all confidence in our back 4 and ultimately the whole team. He musn't be in the Squad for Norwich and needs replacing with a decent youngish keeper before 31/8
Taarabt was by no means the worst player on the pitch. The defence was a shambles all day long. To say taarabt cant do it base on ONE game at the START of the season? No one had a good game. He cant do it on his own can he!
So Queens......you've been completely shot down in flames by people who watched the game. Are you sure you even watched it?
Couldn't even be arsed to read it OZZIE, you are a boring prick, when you start talking Taarabt. If I was you I'd give it up and open another tinnie cobber !
As someone who has lived in Australia, I can tell you that crazy Queenslanders have a reputation for licking cane toads to get a toxic high. Never believed it myself.
Tarbs showed some poor passing at critical points, which was a failing of his game before he came back after Jan. he looked as though he believed all the press about himself vs Swansea. Didn't like his attitude for 3rd goal when he gave up on Dyer, but as I've said before our defence and defensive midfield shouldn't be looking to Tarrabt to defend in that position. Disappointing performance, but has as been said he wasn't alone by any means! He needs to show he can continue from last year and show more improvement this!
By who? I was there, he wasn't nearly the worst. He was one of the few who looked like he kept trying till the end. Looking at the replays on MOTD, i can't believe how poor the defence was. No one was prepared to fling themselves in front of shots(think fabio was guilty for 2 of their goals), and the defending was very lackadaisical. Onouha had a stinker for one goal, green for another. Another looked like a failed offside trap attempt from ferdinand et al. One individual mistake from the keeper, follow by two breakaway goals, and everythign went to pot(not because of Taraabt though).
The only players who come out of yesterday with any credit are Hoilett who was a real handful and Park who ran himself ragged. Some of the others went awol in the second half and should be ashamed of themselves. Taraabt's problem was he was always looking to do a bit too much instead of the simple pass, he'd often look for the 'hollywood' ball rather than a lay-off one-two that might have been more effective, you can't afford to give it away so easily at this level and Adel should have learnt that lesson by now...
