Anderson has been impressing me since the turn of the year and in pre season. Cleverley has also impressed me in pre season. He did not impress me that much with Wigan but with Utd he has looked much better. He is still quite young and him and Anderson played quite well together against Barca. I wonder if Ferguson will pair them against City. Probably unlikely but you never know.

I believe both deserve their chance and I believe they may play a major part in us not signing another midfielder. Pogba also looks set to get some chances next season as well and Ferguson did say he will look at what he has got before making a decision on bringing someone in. We all know about Sneidjer and the rumors but with his wages and fee and age, is it really wise we stunt these 2 talented players growths to accommodate him? I believe Ferguson will give these 2 chances as they deserve it. If we bought Sneidjer we would have to play him with a player like Carrick. However, it is more likely we will not sign him which is good news for those 2 players. It is in our DNA to give young players chances.

Sure they can play together, but i reckon theyd be overrun against even the lesser teams. People underestimate how important a player Carrick is, it was his turn of form that won us the league and got us into the final of the champions league last season.

I don't think that would be the best combination. Cleverley isn't Carrick when it comes to passing nor is he Fletcher when it comes to defensive abilities and as a result, Anderson would have to quell his natural instincts so I don't think you are getting the best out of both of them. Carrick and Anderson is probably the combination that should derive the best out of both of them.

My issue with anderson is that every time he picks the ball up i worry that he will struggle to make a pass regardless of whether its a simple 2 yard one or if he tries to hit a 40 yard through ball and he always manages to under or over hit the ball; hes clearly got talent but i worry that he'll never live up to expectations

Nay12, Anderson of the turn of the year has had a great pass completion and he has improved in nearly all areas especially shooting. In pre season he has looked class as well and it is time he is given his chance. It is not a massive risk as we will still have Fletcher Carrick and Giggs and Park can play there.
