In a new series, I intend to find out which factors affect a player reaching his potential, including examples to follow and examples to avoid. Part 1: Versatility - a poisoned chalice? http://hitrowz.com/2013/07/16/fulfilling-potential-part-1/
do you know what i hope malky has more balls if we find another aaron rambo ramsey again,2play the fking lad,if you good enough your old enough yeah.....we saw glimpses of what he could do when he was sixteen and he deserved his chance in the fa cup final but dave took the dream away by playing the safe card instead.........surely that's what wins fa cuPs taking a gamble and giving the youngster a chance 2 live out the dream he had that would be fresh in mind where he smashed in the winner and gets carried on the shoulders of team mates with the cuP in hand
I believe the youngsters can shine and reach their potential. The academy has produced quality players over the years. Not all will be in the mould of Ramsey but with us and the swans being in the premier league I believe more youngsters will look at football rather than rugby. This will increase the potential for more gems to be discovered locally. If Ralls is to remain a bluebird I believe he must be in the 1st team squad and part of the match day squad, if not he should go out on loan for regular competitive football. The development squad has its place but with Ralls he needs competitive games.
Very true Taff. Ralls, Mason, Declan John and Nugent (if we sign another cb) should all go out on loan to further their experience and get regular, first team league football, at Championship level at least although John might have to go a little lower.
