From the 1st game I would also swap kane for Rangel and Pugh for scowen, playing him on the left and Eze in the middle of the 3. That's if he goes with 4-2-3-1 again
GK Geoff Capes Defenders Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Midfield Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Forwards Geoff Capes. Geoff Capes. Playing a 4-4-2 at home.
I’d go same as bob . We needed a bit more width than last week . First half we offered nothing down the left and second half that’s where their attacks came from . I reckon you may see wells on bench and possibly ball who a had a great game vs Watford , was suspended for stoke game . For me lumleys place is under threat but I reckon he will get at least 6 games to show . Our keeper needs to be good with his feet the way we now play . Not sure he is good enough .
Can anyone guess our strongest team? I don't think so, I don't know much about our signings ( never even heard of any of them ) with the exception of last season's loanees. It will be like supporting a team you don't support but go along as a neutral except that they'll be playing in our kit. Bizarre. Last season was pretty crap, especially after New Year and that was with a fairly established team. We now go into this season having sold or got rid of all those players and have replaced them and the manager and expect what? Logic would determine automatic relegation. We've replaced the vast majority of our squad having spent only £50,000 on one player, and fifteen new signings? This is only going one way isn't it? Of course, I hope I'm proven wrong but the evidence isn't there. I hope Warburton the Wizard makes me eat this post come April.
Last week I watched a team that played some good football and looked a solid unit . We did a professional job at a hard place to go . Hopefully we will show this through rest of season . I feel we have upgraded in a lot of positions. Cleared deadwood and brought in decent pros or talented youth . The season is one of optimism and a fresh start after the ****e we watched under olly and mcclaren. Dark horses causing upsets I reckon this year .
Seems a very pessimistic view mate. I'm quite excited by what I've seen and really don't care that I don't know a lot of the new players. They're ours now and the squad looks much stronger than last year's imo. Could all turn to **** of course as we're QPR.
I agree. We’d all heard of the players that both Warnock & Hughes bought in when we were in the PL and look how that worked out, so I’m not bothered that there are few ‘names’ in the list. This may well work in our favour. Early days, of course. I also like the fact that we’ve sold on and ‘up’ this time along.
