Campbell on loan to Hartlepool

Adam Campbell had been loaned out to Hartlepool for a month.

Apparently straight into the first team squad for their match against York. So hopefully he'll get some game time and more experience under his belt.

Means he could get to play in the cup match vs. Blyth too. Might end up upsetting one or two on this board if he scores in that one!

 

Good for the lad. Think Arma is well ahead of him now though.

 

Nothing like starting at the bottom.
Puts him at a club a handful of places above The Heed.
Can't ever see him doing it at PL level.

 

Can't make my mind up about him. Sometimes he looks really useful playing off the front. His record at St Mirren was poor and sometimes anonymous. Good move for him, but he really needs to make some progress now.

 

I hope this move does him some good (and Hartlepool - another NE team set to lose their league place).

As others have said though, he needs to start pushing on. Too many others have moved ahead of him and he doesn't seem to be developing.

 

Campbell came on as a late sub but couldn't manage to get a goal and save Hartlepool from another defeat.

On a note of interest to you ACS, Hartlepool's goal was scored by Fenwick - so it's fair to say that Fenwick's put himself in the shop window (since you show no sign of doing it!)

 

Loaned him out on FM15 for the season, by January he had 32 goals in 36 for macclesfield! If FM thinks he will make it, then so do I
