I have to say I don't really know much about Campbell but I'm imaging similar to Vardy? Have to say I'm really happy with all our signings so far, great work once again. Can't wait to see who we break our transfer record on because surely that's just around the corner because we're going to sign a new striker I just wonder if any of the names reported are legit.
As long as hes more Nuge/Vardy than Beckford, then im happy, We need 11 people defending when we lose the ball.
Our kind of player apparently chases everything and never stops running. Fully committed and bangs a few goals in too.
Yeah that's the impression I get from what I've read before and it sounds like he's got a good attitude too. I guess to score nine goals in a team as poor as Cardiff must surely be a good return because I wouldn't have thought they would create as many chances as we will? I'm getting really excited about this squad and all the noises being made sound like we're looking for a big number 9 and a defensive midfielder and then we'll be about there. Who does everyone else want us to sign to complete the squad?
It seems Crystal Palace have now also had a bid accepted for Campbell. He doesn't seem the typical Tony Pulis type of player so it surprises me, unless Pulis is going to sell Dwight Gayle who by all accounts had a decent season when he played Nigel has already said if a player tries to get more money out of us he will pull the plug and look elsewhere. So Campbell might not be coming here now
this is how Campbell and his agent (father) operate playing club's off against each other, did it with us now looks like they doing it again with Leicester, good luck in your dealing with them both.
He was never on my 'wish list' so I won't be particularly bothered either way ... at £800k it's a no brainer ... but certainly hasn't set the Prem alight so far in his career ...
His dad is a complete twat, much of the original dislike for Campbell at our place comes from the actions of his dad, rather than him. Though he went on to upset everyone himself later.
