An interview with NP on KCFM, he said that there is still a lot of swelling present so he won't be seeing a specialist for at least a week with possible surgery.

A big loss for us, oh dear!

yep just heard, can we reach play-offs without him? IMO we need to add Devitt cos we lacked pace..

Yeah it is a big loss, I think Devitt could really take his chance if Nigel gives it to him but then again he may bring in another winger on loan.

Devitt is one of the slowest players in our squad, he can't play the wing like Stewart does. He tends to hang back and float crosses in from deeper.

but devitt dosn't go down when someone breaths on him and look around for a free kick.not as if we've been playing with speed for a few games more like hang back and see if we can snatch it.

So if Devitt isn't the option then who is?
We have no one in our squad on par with him with pace and trickery, do we play Koren and Belaid on the wings?
It sounded from the commentary that Belaid didn't have the best of games, and with us shipping out Halmosi and Kilbane we have virtually no left winger. (Not that they would have made any difference to us.)
Is there anyone available on loan that fits the bill?

Not great news is it? His pace will be greatly missed. i think it will make the difference between us making the play-offs and not making the play-offs. Sounds as if Belaid was a passenger tonight. Only solution would be to bring in Devitt or alternatively play Simmo wide right and go 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 when it suits.

Really bad news for Cameron. The team member I think we will miss the most as there is no alternative explosive pace at the club for this wide position.
I like Devitt, but I am not expecting his 'promise' to be good enough just yet & Belaid is a good central midfielder.. not a wide man much like Koran.
    Bad luck all round.
I think Cameron's loss may see end end of 'adventurous attacking play' and we will compete more like the Derby game... Be solid & just do enough to win!

    Get well soon Cameron!

    I reflect your sentiments exactly!
I don't care how we get the results, even if we do a George Graham-style Arsenal, as long as we get the results!
If we don't make the play-off's this year, then, at least the team (now!) tried their collective best to get there.

I can see us using McLean out wide and bringing Simpson back in up top.

Team vs Cardiff anyone? What do you reckon to this?

    Rosenior----Chester--Gerrard-----Dawson--
    Koren----Harper------Evans------McLean--
    -----------Fryatt------Simpson-----------
