stewart needs to start up front or on the bench in my opinion....all the excellent work he did around xmas setting up simpson, was from up top, he can go left or right and be a nightmare to pick up..
i know hes supposed to be a winger by trade, but i dont think hes had a decent game there yet gets marked out of it too easy.., far more effective up top..
id start devitt on tuesday, caused problems when he came on..

yeah to be fair stewarts form does tend to have followed that trend, problem is you'd have to drop mclean probably and still not give Simpson another chance which would be a bit harsh. Devitt did look lively when he came on and he has a mean shot on him, played a couple of good balls to.

Stewart's not looked great since moving out wide, but Devitt only came on with 15 to go after they'd tired. It's much easier to look good then than when you start.
I'd like to see Devitt given a start but the team's settled enough at the moment and Tuesday's a big game to mess things around with before-hand.

If Stewart doesn't make an impact again stick Devitt on for him again and give him a start at Scunny.

I dont think Stewart or Koren look totally comfortable in there positions at the moment.

Devitt must be close to replacing Stewart in the starting line-up as this is his position.

I agree to get the best from Koren he has to play in the centre.

I just dont think NP wants to move away from having 2 defensive midfielders though.

Simpson needs another go up front, it's no coincidence our best form came with him up front and Stewart next to him.

Simpson is a striker who will stand in the middle and kick it in the goal, which is what we massively lack at the moment. Yesterday our strikers and midfield were totally avoiding the area at all costs.

    I'd go with:

    Guzan
    Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson
    Koren Evans Harper Devitt
    Simpson Stewart/McLean/Fryatt

I'd start one of those 3 up top with Simpson to be the workhorse but I can't decide which. None of them will score you loads but Simpson can stand in the box and do that, he is the only natural goalscorer in the team, but clearly suffers when he doesn't have another hardworking striker next to him to do the donkey work.

Koren is wasted out wide, he's got to be played central. Simpson and Fryatt up top.

Koren has got to play in the middle. Stewart, Devitt, Simpson or Maclean on the left and right...if i had my way we'd play 433 at home though.

Stewart is more wasted on the wing than Koren is! Unfortunately we have no wingers, and loads of CMs so obviously one of them, Koren, will have to go wide.

Where has this idea that McLean and Simpson are wingers come from?! They're both out and out strikers and Simpson in particular would be crap on the wing because he's lazy!
