Rumours going round tonight that we're signing one of these guys from spurs on a 3 year deal. Also I'll be making our match day thread now, so make sure to comment and get involved please

I'm sitting on the fence, I don't know or understand what crazy path we are following, I'm fed up with all of the rhetoric and I'm now a silent observer.
It's quite the opposite of cheapness mate. We've bid 2.5 million for Maguire and Lees to have them rejected, prepared to spend 2.5 on Lingard on top of spending 2 million of Kodjia. If we got all of out targets so far it would be over 7 million spent. It's just we seem to be aiming to high, the players we've bid for are happy where they are or clubs are refusing to sell. We've been quoted 7 million for Andy Gray and no doubt we would have been willing to spend 3 million on him. The funds are there but the players haven't been coming in. If we have a good season this year then next seasons transfer window will look even better, as players will know we can stand our ground in this league, at the moment we're the new boys and we don't know where we stand, we could be relegation fighters all season, or we could be comfortably safe. I honestly think players are a bit hesitant to come to us because they're not sure if we're going to be in this league next season
This s an almost identical situation to our first year up with GJ, very difficult to get the quality in we require. If we are thereabouts at Xmas we may be able to recruit a bit higher from the food chain this time! (not a Dele Adebola perhaps) The message is getting across about us to the greater football world but its so slow!!!
Thats the wisest summary i've heard this summer, and the most positive. I hope you are right, because if so then the club will eventually get a squad fit for promotion - but maybe not this season
Shiny is on the money, newly promoted teams seem to have a blinding first season, or struggle, there may just be a few a bit hesitant about joining and wait until Jan or next summer. My only confusion comes with all the talk about only bringing in players to challenge for the 1st team, yet we appear to be on the brink on bringing in a couple of young kids, to me doesn't smack of first team for this season..
Well it was Ryan Fredericks in the end and not Cameron Carter Vickers.... last night it was all over the place with this guy!
