Love the attitude of Cambiasso. http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/Lei...mbiasso-says/story-26277713-detail/story.html
"Easier said than done" is a prase he could learn if he´s looking to stay in England beyond this season.
Still can't believe this guy is playing for our club. This season may well go down as a bit of a disaster, but at least we can say we've had one of the best midfielders in the past 15 years play for Leicester.
Cambiasso quotes “Our supporters must come to the stadium now, not for our last six home matches in the Premier League, but for our last six home matches this season,” he said. “This is the mentality we need to stay in the Premier League. “The past is important to understand mistakes, but the past you cannot change so you have to focus on the future. The future is Saturday and we need to start to do better. “I believe we can do it. Maybe people think I am crazy, but I believe it is possible. “One time I listened to Michael Jordan when a journalist asked him why he always takes the last shot and never misses. He said it was because he always believed he would score. This is the mentality we need. “There is no ‘can’t’. We can do it.” Never thought it would be possible to love someone from Argentina so much
Yodafied: To the stadium, our fans must come. Think of these games as the last six Premiere league home matches we must not, but as the next six home wins. To stay in the Premier league, mentality like this we must have. and from the master himself: “Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.” “Do or do not. There is no try.” Well, it's a bit of a fantasy to think we can stay up but what the hell, I'll even believe Yoda is real if it helps!
2 reasons why we are where we are. 1. Our DEF just ain´t any where near prem quality & 2. NP never really knows his best XI. We have heart & a will to want to win but that just ain´t enough in this lge.
Best signing Np has made, should have the captains arm band on! he does all the shouting and geeing up, and all the players look up to him.
Can't stop watching that goal! It's a shame it came this weekend as it's been completely glossed over! Still can't believe he's had 5 shots on target and scored 4 of them! Hits the ball so sweetly.
There seems to be a new energy surrounding the club at the minute. We have been playing well and finally got what we deserved on saturday. Looking at the fixtures this now seems do able. Our next 3 fixtures are all very winnable games which we need a minimum of 6 points from IMO but we can't afford to lose to Burnley
I genuinely think that article played a part in our change in fortunes. With Cambiasso scoring the goal that set the run aswell the players actually was inspired by him I think Cambiasso will go down as a Leicester legend if we see the job through
Really hope he signs another contract for next season, with investment in the squad he could be even better (someone with half a brain to run onto his passes!). Second season in the PL is when you can attract the quality players, though I expect Pearson will be level-headed if we do stay up.
No doubting (despite another year on the clock) that he will be even better next season having become 'acclimatised' to the rigors of Prem football - assuming we survive of course - here's hoping...
It depends really, any other club outside the top 8 would see him as a fine aquisition. I really hope he'll stay for the support & respect that he gets here, rather than a bigger contract elsewhere.
