I'm not going to lie... completely forgot he was still a City player, and forgot he was even at Burnley :S
Hr certainly won't be playing against us as his parent club, unless like with Cardiff when we had Gerrard and they had Oli, an agreement was reached between the clubs, that both players could play. With Burnley that is not the case, so even if he was regularly playing for them, he will not feature this weekend.
It's a non issue, he hasn't even made the bench for two of there last three games, he's made no impression there at all and they're just running down the clock until they send him back in January.
He's struggling to get a look in at the moment anyway so doubt it matters what the agreement says, although I suspect it will be a case of he's not allowed to
How long he does have left on his contract? It's annoying Howe left half way through his loan as he was at least getting appearances (albeit a fair few as a sub) until then. It's a shame that his career trajectory looks to be on a downward spiral at the moment.
Actually, he probably did. Though you can give permission for a player to play against you if you want, we did it the season before last, when Oli was at Cardiff.
To be honest I still think it was the right decision at the time. Didn't work out well in terms of Oli, but it might have been worse if we had Gardner or Zayatte at CB instead of Gerrard.
