..there's been plenty of you questioning the great Sir Michael Laudrup over his team selection for the Arsenal match. SO PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!

Assuming there are no injuries, pick the two teams you would start against St Gallan and Southampton - and decide what tactics you would use in each match.

You've got three days to think about it - so there are no excuses you bunch of tossers <laugh>

    Tate
    Tate,Tate,Tate,Tate,
    Tate,Tate,Tate,Tate,
    Tate,Tate,

Ah,remember those halcyon days when Tate could do no wrong, walk on water,etc.,etc.

I much prefer those days to the phony "best league in the world" nonsense that is regurgitated on a daily basis by interested parties.

Note to self,"Don't forget to take "The Emperor's Clothes" to the cleaners".

    St gallen lineup

    Vorm
    Rangel Chico Ash Ben
    Shelvey Pozuelo Michu
    Hernandez Routledge
    Bony

High intensity like west brom last year hit them hard and extremely fast to take the game away from the visitors.

    Southampton lineup

    Vorm
    Rangel Chico Ash Ben
    Shelvey britton canas
    Hernandez Routledge
    Michu

Keep it tight in the first half with our normal game then bring on bony and drop michu into the hole

LOL - has the new footballmanager game just come out? Poz, Shelvey and Michu in midfield. Hallo it's European Competition, not Dagenham and Redbridge!

Have gone with that, think he will try and keep Ash for the Southampton game, think he may use this game to give Michu a rest, and bring him on from the bench if needed. IF Hernandez is fit, play him instead of Dyer.

Think it will be a very fast attacking game plan, go for the win, which means we may be able to rest players in the later part of the group stages

Gone for this line up due to how well Southampton have been this season. Gone for a more defensive approach by using Michu upfront and Shelvey as the more attack minded midfielder, although like he did against Arsenal, can come back to defend if needed. If the game is going to plan, then bring on Bony to rattle the tired Southampton defence.

This looks far more realistic, I think we'll play both Bony and Michu against soton, Canas will have a rest

Right here's my take on the teams:

St Gallen: Vorm, Davies, Chico, Amat, Tendialli, Leon, Shelvey, Routledge, Pouzelo, Michu, Bony.

Southampton: Vorm, Chico, Ash, Rangel, Canas, Shelvey, JDG, Dyer, Routledge, Michu, Bony.

strongest side for both games with michu and bony if in the side, i don't want to see bony's name ever again on the bench and not starting. we can always sub him if needed. Every other position is even and don't mind who plays.

Problems arise from the fitness of Ash and Rangel. If both are doubtful I hope that Chico / Amat are good for both games - any sight of Monk and we're going to be in for a tough game regardless. If Amat is not up for both matches then Alfei to play against the Swiss and Amat against the Saints.

If both are out which is more likely than not then monk will play and be captain. we should have gone for caulker when he became available ..
