Why don't you ask thewestern Irish?

    Ballinlough isn't in Mayo.

Donegal is in Southern Ireland as well, despite having the most northern part of Ireland within it's mainland borders.

Yes. If you are going in the direction of Mayo from Ballinlough you'd be on the road to Ballyhaunis where there is a Mosque.

    Does that matter?

TBH it does for me and not because of what some may think

It helps with food, prayers (as you mention mosque) and if I am honest the last time I went to a place with no asians the white folk nearly killed themselves

<laugh> not because what some will think either, basically I was at a bus stop and as the cars drove past the drivers did a a 'double take'. There were 2 scrapes as cars ran into the back of one another

    I didnt dare laugh

To elaborate , the west or wesht of Ireland is a barren god forsaken ****hole. I believe they'll be getting colour tv soon.

Now Southern Ireland's neighbour the Peoples Republic of Cork is just pure heaven, but we don't like outsiders <grr>

They are well used to it round there. It is a lovely spot.

One hour from Galway...maybe a bit more which is a great spot.

Not much in the line of work though.
