I couldn't be arsed cooking tonight and decided to order out. Despite living in the throbbing heart of the metropolis and being in delivery range of 140 restaurants, the choice was piss poor. It was limited to Indian, Chinese, Turkish or pizza. Even allowing for the fact that some of the Indians were doubling up as Nepalese restaurants, and some of the Chinese were doubling up as Japanese/Sushi/Thai places, it's still a very limited choice. There wasn't even a Mexican or proper Italian place on offer. Uninspired, I ended up just having a microwave sausage & mash. Surely there's got to be a gap in the market to offer a greater variety of takeaway restaurants? If I wasn't such a lazy bastard, I'd do it myself.
Perhaps someone could open up, something along the lines of the Argus Catalogue, only in takeaway mode.
