I think what this site needs is a super-mod, someone who is on call 24/7 to sort out the **** that other (ordinary) mods cannot or won't sort out. He won't exactly be in charge of all the other mods, but he'd certainly have the final word on closing threads (or re-opening threads that dickhead mods - not mentioning any names - have closed due to being biased or without humour). He'd have the power to walk onto any board and lay down the law, not in a "controling" manner, more like in an advisory capacity (although, I think he should have the power to suspend dickhead mods - not naming any names - in exceptional circumstances). I'd think I'd be good at that job. I let all the mods start with a clean slate before weighing-in. I'm not saying that this site needs a total clean up (some mods are very good), but there are definitely one too many wum-mods who need to be brought to book, in my opinion. One of the first things I would do would be to create a mod ranking system, like in the army, with my most able and trusted mods in the officer-class, and all others trailing off to lance corporal. I'd be General, I suppose, and PNP would most definitely be my Field Marshall. All of the Spurs mods would get top ranking - not because I'm biased, but because it is a verifiable fact that they are the best mods on the site. I'd probably use the Mouser and Gooner mods nearer the cannon-fodder end of the ranking system. A couple of them I'd have peeling potatos for a few months before subjecting them to dishonourable discharges. The site would be leaner, fitter, hungrier, but, overall, a much better place to visit.
There would be order, luvvy, not carnage. Sure, there would be a fairly brutal culling in the early days; but difficult problems require tough measures, and I wouldn't shirk my responsibilities. After the dust had settled, however, I'm confident that everyone would find the site a better, happier place to be, with only mods who are fit-for-purpose given the honour to wear that particular badge. In time, poems would be written about me, and I'm sure I'd become the stuff of folk legends.
You'd be fine, luvvy. I like you. We have a laugh. There are many whom I like, even though they probably think I don't. I don't mind having my ribs tickled. I'm not a vindictive man - quite the contrary, in fact. I would take no pleasure in doing the things that I'd have to do (to clean this place up), believe me! Okay, yes, if I am being brutally honest, there are a couple of people - no names being mentioned - whom it would take me a little bit of pleasure in getting shot of. But even then, you see, if at the last moment PISKIE begged and pleaded with me to cling on to his mod-ship, I'd more than likely relent. I'd probably create an under-class of mods for people like him, to do the skivvying that's not really fit for proper mods. If he's that desperate to cling to power, he'd basically do anything.
HRH, luvvy... thank you guys for your support! We have a lot of work ahead of us, but with perseverence we can grow the HIAG Party into a winning party. I will let you have a full hit-list... I mean, manifesto... as soon as I've thought of one.

Very sensible. There are a lot of charlatans out there, luvvy, who view the super-mod position as nothing more than an opportunity to settle petty vendettas. There's no place for them in power.
We need a proper thread with pics and slogans and of course a poll to get this campaign moving, we also need a rival candidate.
What this campaign needs is a tombstone outlining exactly who would be targeted and ultimately eliminated.
No, Shteve! I will not sanction this kind of vendetta politics! I want to make this site a better place, not worse! Yes, there are those who will be rooted out - naming no names - but we must undertake this work with heavy hearts, and hearts not filled with hatred. Our crusade must be a just one, if we are to win over the popular vote.
