This for me. Was obvious we needed some fresh legs but none arrived till after we conceded 2 goals??? Can any one make sense of it?

WILLIAMSON :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang: Can not wait for the day the guy is told he is no longer needed. Yesterday was awful and eventually capitulated by being squashed for their winner, people will say Colo didn't mark his man but Willo didn't even get off the ground or try to challenge for the ball. If a CB is not throught the door in the first 3/4/5 days of the window I will be LIVID!!!

I am of the opinion we need two now but the likelyhood is the 2nd one will have to wait till the summer. Its killing us at present though with Willo, poor bugger is trying his best too.

I can't say I know much about the rest of them, but I do recall Carver being known as a 'YES' man, when he was assistant to Bobby. When things started to go downhill in SBR's final season, I remember allot of blame from fans being directed at Carver and his inability to point out our failings to Bobby.

As for the others, you can only assume that they fall into the same category.

Like you said, if they were doing their job properly, they would be going through the videos of the previous game(s) and analysing where things have gone wrong. If Pardew doesn't pick up on it (which seems quite galling, as the shortcomings are pretty bloody obvious!), then the other 'backroom staff' should be chiming in with their two penneth.

All in all, we're in a **** storm of our own making, and this is where the 'Management' prove their worth/earn their money. Bold leadership is required, which will take all of Pardew's skills if he's to achieve it. Here's hoping...

After 14 games this season he's yet to achieve it...hope is a word for people in desperate times, unfortunately we are currently in such times...
