It's not an either/or situation. The newspapers are speculating wildly about any and every club that's 'in the news'. Apparently, even Claudio Ranieri hasn't 'ruled us out'. I guess from that that he hasn't explicitly said that he won't be managing us, even though the likelihood of that happening is as possible as Osama swimming ashore. We will go up, or we won't. Although we will..... and Neil will still be our manager next season, whatever division. Or he won't. Although he will.....
