Hi folks, I've replied to a few threads over the years on here but it's the first time I've started one. Did anyone else see sky sports news and that Cal Donaldson is having a medical. Anyone got any idea about him? I understand he's seen as a real prospect and a youngster too. Just wondered what you all thought. Sorry if this has been covered already.
He's probably one for the future, but if the experience of other young players at the club is anything to go by he may find it hard to get a chance to show what he can do. The fee I heard was £150,000, is that about right?
Just heard the report again and it's supposed to be £200,000. So your there or thereabouts. Might be worth popping onto the Livingstone board and seeking their thoughts on him as a player. Hit a snag...... just seen that Livingstone don't have a board. That scuppers that one. lol.
He's highly thought of up here, and was in the papers "14 to watch for 2014" at turn of the year. Can't see him displacing any of our regulars, but can play anywhere across the back, and defensive midfield so good cover. Has played about 20 games this season, so no waiting about for him to be match fit (although that is in second tier up here - about League 2/upper Conference standard). He's young so should have re-sell value as well if ge gets his chance to perform.
