That one is a shame. I really would have liked is to sign him. They are definitely struggling to get players in. This fkd up market is making it very difficult for any (Prem) club not prepared to drop 30+ million on a single player.
From what I've heard that's exactly what they asked for - no wonder clubs go abroad for players when even British players who haven't played in the PL are being quoted at those sorts of figures
He is proper decent. I think personally what we need. Calm on the ball able to beat the first man and get his head up. There is no way you can pay those sort of figures unless you are buying established quality though is you ask me. If the 30m is true then for us you need to either be getting your new capitan or a guaranteed 20+ goal a season CF.
I liked the look of him last season, but I'm not convinced he was good enough to make a massive difference. If you have 20m to spend on that type of player I think there would be better out there. I'd rather have spent 8m on Will Hughes
