Tom Cairney has been nominated for August’s Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award. His curling strike at Leeds United is one of three nominees for the award, to be voted for by fans on skysports.com on Friday 16th September. Earlier this week he was also one of four nominees for Player of the Month. His stats say why; goals 2, assists 1, chances created 16, successful passes 296 and passing accuracy 91.6%. Fulham fans had him up there for the second of those, naming him MOTM three times out of five in our League games in August on the Club's poll. However when it comes to goals, he was a down in third place with 16.6% of the fan's votes; Cauley Woodrow winning with 42.7% and Dennis Adenran coming in second on 20.4%. Admittedly neither of the two ahead of him were in League matches though.
