His 2 goals 2nite in the Asian cup were sublime, just makes me wonder what he would of done if available to us. A significant upgrade on Gomez/Buckley. I think his contract at New York runs out in the summer so my question is who would take him? I know he's pushing 35 but him & Defoe would cause havoc IMO & yes I'm a little biased here <cheers>

Watched it live as well, 2knockout goals, brilliant overhead and a header he had to make a lot of the power for.
As good as he is just can,t see him doing it week to week in the prem league now, impact player yes

Watched it in Sydney, great performance, great player. I'd still have him as a second striker.

Absolutely not for me. We need to start building for the future, not add another dinosaur to an aging squad. Defoe is a case of needs must, but we can't start building a team of 30+ers in my opinion.

Boring but really uneventful. Plane food was rubbish, a few films, a couple of good looking air hostesses. Happy days. No problem really. Return leg will be utterly depressing mind.

Hahahah. Yeah, popped the question on Monday next to the beach in her hometown in Victoria before we headed to Sydney
for a few days. Very pleased. Really like Aus. Will be looking to make the move within 6 months if possible I reckon. Very pleased Disco.
