  1. Of course we'd rather keep Cabaye because we've just bought him and he's younger and can still improve.

But who do you think is better, right now?

I'd personally go with Cabaye. I still think he's getting used to the league, he sometimes forgets he can't hold on to the ball as much as he does sometimes, but his technique, sharpness and accuracy shooting on goal are all better than Barton's.

    How about you?

Remember, this isn't "who would you rather have?", this is asking you who you think is a better player now.

Did you know in a previous match Cabaye had run more miles than any player in a game in the the history of the premiership. Apparently

Cabaye is better, Barton is more used to the league.

Cabaye. Full international, French double winner, young, professional.

Barton. Token cap, 2 at best good top flight seasons, old, helmet.

    Easy.

Cabaye without a doubt, thought in fairness they played in different positions and Barton would still get in our team on the right. Cabaye vs Nolan would be a more appropriate competition, and a landslide!

Seems a bit of a pointless question now Tash <laugh>. For some reason I don't think you expected it to be quite the landslide.

Barton wouldn't get in our team.

Cabaye is a more polished player than Barton...look at his accuracy in his passes compared to Barton..
Setpieces around the same, slightly erratic, but even the best get them wrong sometimes.
Cabaye is a more creative force in midfield..
Cabaye is a slightly better tackler than Barton(who's decent as well)
Barton has his moments of madness, whereas Cabaye so far hasn't shown us any..

I disagree. Although Obertan hasn't set the world alight yet we do have other options, and the immobile Beckham style winger that Joey was wouldn't remotely fit the way we play now. Plus Ryan Taylor has more than replaced his set pieces...

I'm confused, has he got a token cap or an old helmet, I bet Shola wants them both for his hat collection <ok>

My house mate was so excited when he heard that Stone Roses were going to announce gig dates in Manchester on the radio that he came running up the stairs in the morning shouting our names in a very excitable manner.

Scared me ****less though, I thought there was a fire or something.
