It looks real, has pictures of himself and his family, talks to all the Lille players, his wife alsp has an account. Just waiting for verification from one of the players or @NUFCOfficial and his follower count will shoot up I imagine.

Low level of twitter interest in France and he only made the account recently so low follower count. Once Simpson/NUFC twitter talks to him, he'll get loads of followers I imagine.

Great, another Twatter! Twitter is just a recipe for disaster in the football world, regardless who it is. I don't expect he'll be quite so open as Joey, but I make no secret that I would ban all of our players from Twitter rather than issuing them with guidelines they inevitably ignore at some stage. Nevermind, maybe I'm just old!

We didn't need a 140 characters on the interwebby to get across a message.

You know Overseas, I'm getting further and further left behind by the day. It's not like I'm against techie progress either. Indeed I'm not bad with IT (the office expert!). I just think its the new social networking, Twitter, My Space, Facebook etc. I must be one of the only persons on the planet without a facebook account! Wor lass asked why, and I said

"what would I need it for?"
"You could catch up with all your old school friends and find out what your current mates have been up to"
"Pretty sure I could ring my mates if I wanted to know what they've been up to, and why would I have any interest in looking up old schools mates?"

At this point I realised I'm not very sociable outside my current group of friends and family, and I really don't give a **** what Joey Barton had on his toast today! I'd imagine school reunions just become a "oneupsmanship" session as folk try to justify their existence to all and sundry. The only positive I can see is checking out the women and who has aged well.

I only have a Facebook page as I needed to investigate it for the work I do. I can't really be an IT Business Analyst and have no concept of social networks and the potential this offers to businesses in the long term.

I rarely use my Facebook account to the extent that I actually have a reminder set on my phone to re-occur every 2 weeks to look at it. It's usually over with in about 30 seconds.

I like calling my friends as it's nice to here their voice.

I've been to a few school reunions and after the first one I swore I'd never go again but it was my missus who really wanted to go to the second one so she could see 'how I compared'.

Showing up in the Lotus Elise (borrowed from a mate... I drive an Espace :( ) turned some heads.

Seems I've faired well enough against my old school friends according to the wife.

I tell a lie I can see one very good reason for Facebook (probably the same for the others too), the advertising of local bands. My mates band have seen a massive upturn in support since organising themselves on Facebook. He mentioned something about you even know who to expect because most reply to the invite. So all that is good, I admit it!

I imagine school reunions to be tedious. I ran into a lad I knew at school not long ago, he was a bit of prick when we were at school and not very popular. Within about 5mins he was asking where I lived, what I drove and so on. I thought "do you wanna know how big my cock is now too?" He was bursting to say he drove a Porsche ("Boxster" though so he'll look like a fanny) and lived in a rather nice part of Gosforth.
