Of course he has, he is a forward thinking player and is not a giant!! As the song goes, another one bites the dust!!
That's as maybe, but he has been given a chance, which he has had, every time he turns up for work, most of us rate Brian Klug, so he must have given advice about him to MM, and Terry Connor, who no doubt have watched him closely themselves, just don't see the point of hanging on to someone, if the coaching staff think that he is not going to progress to the first team. Think the problem is, a few supporters might watch him, and he might play what appears to be like a world beater, but to replicate that in the first team is another matter. A very tiny minority of players make it to the first team of their respective clubs, and even when we were flying high in the Bobby Robson era, most of the youth and reserve players would have failed, its just the way it is
I read this post on TWTD and I spat my coffee out with laughter! Suffolk_n_Good added 07:23 - Aug 26 ***STOP PRESS*** Mick Mcarthy has confirmed today that the tea lady is available for loan or permanent transfer, Mcarthy said: "I've made the tea lady available (for transfer), she hasn't progressed quite as we'd hoped, I always have 2 sugars & TC 1, but she doesn't seem to fit with how I wish to play, she's far to creative with how she makes a cuppa, she will use trays, doylees & always makes it in a cup & saucer, that's not me, I'm a mug bloke, for me it's simple, mug, tea bag, hot water, sugar, milk, stir." The 62 year old has been at the club since breaking into the kitchen on a match day nearly 20 years ago, & has wealth of experience, Blues fans will be sorry to see her go, Mcarthy added: "It's all to do with FFP, we have a budget that must be adhered to, so as from today, TC will be taking over all tea making duties"
Rightly said Weighty he is nowhere near good enough. Saw him 14 months ago at Chippenham Town where he was probably the worst player on the pitch and was getting pushed off the ball for fun. His distribution was beyond abysmal too. Good luck whatever happens Lawrence but you clearly haven't pushed on. Spanish, can you tell me how many games of Lawrence you have seen for you to think otherwise please?
To be honest Im not really bothered that we have let this kid go but I am far more concerned by the thinking behind it and the negative message it sounds out to Town fans generally! Maybe, Just Maybe, there will be a perfectly well thought out plan in place and we will soon see the full picture in a couple of weeks with all of our targets coming in to replace whats gone out! Now that would be a novelty I know but fingers crossed that these departures are just the beginning of a well thought out plan!
We apparently had a star in the making, then he turns absolute ****, thats coz Mick 'that twat' destroyed every bit of attacking flair he had in him!! I dont care how **** you thought he was, christ you rate Tabb, we need bloody numbers!!
Thats kinda my point Warky!! Yet another youngster with decent prospect gone by the wayside, i know it happens all the time but feck me, we aint seeing any come through!!
Spanish what games of ours do you get to see from Spain? I just find it fascinating with the opinions you have how many games do you actually see? When I was living in Thailand a few of our games were streamable but no more than 5 / 6 a season. You are honestly telling me you have seen 20 games of Byron Lawrence!?
Can't say I know too much about that lad but was thought to have superb potential. I'm not sure what to make of this but it seems that anyone who has a snippet of attacking instinct or creativity gets booted out of the door. I'm also not optimistic that despite our small squad and pretty poor one that many youngsters will get a chance under Mick, as it's seen as a risk putting youngsters in and we all know what Mick is like at risk taking!!
Don't think you get any money on a zero future transfer fee I hope he does well but think we have far better in our academy.
