Ohh dear timing seems strange too with supposedly deal happening in next day or two or does he have inside information!!! Time to unwrap the cotton wool and get Nelson out there, personally from what I saw last couple of games Nels and Sous would have been my first choice for Saturday anyway. Still big loss to the team.
Not sure why, but its been reported that he said that Risdale " lied to him", and asked for his contract to be terminated immediately ..... get that man away from my club now
I know he´s young but WTF it´s Risdale did he honestly believe a word that came out of that mouth!!!! An old mate of mine who´s a Cardiff fan gave me a useful tip on Risdale he has a tell when he lies so it's easy to spot...if his mouth moves he´s lying!!!!

Zubar has seemed a bit ummm, erratic, before e.g. not returning to training on schedule with no forwarding address, so who knows? I'll say one thing for Ridsdale [hard as I find it] - if he did tell Zubar 3 or 4 weeks ago that the deal was about to be done, I can quite believe Ridsdale believed it to be true at the time. Who'd have thought it would drag on like this? Being wrong isn't the same as lying....... All adds to the general feeling of alarm though doesn't it, on top of being unable to find a much needed striker.
I don't think he can be blamed for not returning to training on time because as far as he was concerned, not being paid and the club being relegated meant he was no longer an Argyle player. Then he had several offers and returned to Argyle and guess what? He's not being paid again and there is even more uncertainty over the future of the club. I don't blame him for wanting his contract terminated so that he can get on and find himself employment elsewhere. If Ridsdale or Reid persuaded him to come back on the promise that things would be sorted out quickly at the club, then he has given us more than enough time to get our act together and we haven't. What's even more worrying for me is that he showed tremendous loyalty in agreeing to return and once again he's asked to defer his wages, and eventually everyone has a breaking point. If the deal doesn't go ahead again tomorrow, how many others are going to decide to do the same as Zubar? And lets face it, if the deal was definitely going ahead tomorrow, someone at the club would have told Zubar this and made sured he stayed. Hands up who thinks there might be another delay and extended "deadline" on the horizon? Another total ****ing shambles from Plymouth Argyle, and once again I say the sooner Ridsdale, Heaney and Co get the **** away from Home Park the better. Zubar was probably the one class player with any value left at Argyle and he's gone.
I did hear a rumour that Zubar said if he didn't get paid, he'd walk, and can you honestly blame him ..... think if Brenda extends the deadline again he'd better be packed and out of Plymouth before he mentions it ...... forgot to say earlier ..... Thank you Zubar for all you've done, and thank you again to Sir Peter, the players and the staff, because its down to them that we still have a club and certainly not down to "I am a reluctant buyer, I say I am a reluctant buyer ..... reluctant buyer my arse ! Agree with you totally J .... pi$$ off and leave OUR club alone !
Why the surprise? The way things have gone for us something else was bound to happen sooner or later. It was a surprise when he signed again rather than this. I don't agree he is the only saleable player at Home Park though greenjock. Nelson is definately sellable and it is only a matter of time before he is as well. Whoever wrote that song "Always look on the Bright Side of Life" clearly never lived in Plymouth did they. Notdistantgreen, you are beginning to sound as if you are trying to defend the indefensible mate. Give up on it please. No we don't know any of the details of any of the process but it is plain as plain can be that the characters involved in all of this have not one ounce of credibility between them. The Administrator has waved his big stick time and time again and shown he has not one jot of pull in this having persued his personal choice relentlessly ignoring it seems all others. Ridsdale has arrived with "no agenda other than to save the club" when it is now clear he had every intention of acquiring it from the start. Heaney and Co. have strung people along for all it's worth and it is also clear they are not a group of money people in the football sense at all and never have been. Not one show of integrity from any of them that I can see. Whilst I will take whoever comes along if the club is saved I will not endorse these people with any vote of confidence or backing.
Well put Sensible, i have no time for these morons running the show. They are no different than the last bunch of Crooks. The Japs could be behind all this lot. The administrator should go without wages now and pay the staff at least. He is here getting paid for messing about and living up in a hotel. He should be looked at after this all ends as its been a disgrace and its all his fault. Professional conmen calling themselves a consortium. Ginger has not a penny to scratch his ares with it seems. One word for them all "CROOKS"
I wouldn't call them crooks joe they simply lack any integrity for telling the truth. I hope there is some sort of enquiry into this by the FA but I fear that they also have a big stick with no arms to clout with. It has been disgraceful and the people who suffer as usual are the innocent. Rich people get away with stuff all the time in this Country. If you can hire a really good accountant, so that would not be Stapleton then, you can pay less tax than the average man in the street who earns less in a year than they earn in a week. If you can pay enough for a good lawyer then you can avoid what the average man would be hung and quartered for. Same old same old. The people in this that get hurt are the staff and supporters but since when did these sorts care about that as long as they don't go without. It's shameful but we are stuck with it and have no choice but to go along and carry on as if everything was ok. Reasons why I'm not religeous, there cannot possibly be a God to allow this all to happen.
The FA will do sweet FA, they are all in it together it seems. All sit back and take what they can, as you say its the staff that are suffering. how are they surviving to pay bills, mortgages/rent. It is a disgrace but nobody will do FA. We are down here out the way, if it was a different location they would be all over it. They know that the supporters won't walk away and they have us by the balls so to speak. I van't blame people for walking away. what will be the next stage...... we await tomorrow.May be they are not crooks but that is what most are calling them as its all done for their benefits not ours!
Risdale has been very quiet about what the FL have had to say to him .... I reckon they've said noooooooooooooo ...... good they've grown a pair !!!!!
May have grown a pair Gat but nothing is certain in that. The best senario would be for the current deal to go ahead and for Brent to buy the club for £1 perhaps. Was that a flock of pigs I saw flying past just then? Would Brent be so kean to get involved if there was no developement in it for him I wonder? Simply there is too much to speculate about with all of this. It's like an episode of Yes Minister without the happy ending bit.
Zubars only human,no doubt like the rest of us he's pissed off with all this crap.Unfortunately just another part of the disintegration of team and club. Thanks Zubar-all the best.
So is tomorrow the official new "deadline" for the deal to be done? As a betting man I would stake a very very large sum on nothing happening again. And then what? Who will walk away next? And if we lose to Crewe on Saturday how many would turn up for the next home game? Just read Risdales latest blog and **** me that guy can't half big himself up. Saviour? All his hard work? ****ing bunch of muppets falling for his bullshit while he conveniently avoids any awkward questions but funnily enough can answer any posts that praise him for all his efforts or include the word saviour. Don't think my post will get aired for some strange reason. On the other hand, Matt Slater has been tweeting that the deal should complete tomorrow, so fingers crossed. Don't want Ridsdale or Heaney anywhere near Home Park but IF the deal completes is will keep us afloat long enough to hopefully survive and one day kick out the crooks!
Sensible I'll explain it just one more time & then shut up. People can then yearn for another buyer as much as they like but it won't happen. 1) These deals are very complex. 2) They are likely to fall over at any stage if the buyer finds something he can't live with. 3) That being so, they are never done quickly. There will be lawyers, planning consultants, accountants all over it for weeks. 4) As a purchaser, a reasonable target might be to bring home 1 in 5 potential transactions. If your success rate is higher than that, you're over-paying. Guess what that means statistically for the seller. 5) The club is bust and doesn't have the financial resources to restart that process from Day 1. 6) Nobody, but nobody with two brain cells to rub together, is going to pump in the multi-millions without going through that process, slow as it is. 7) In the end, none of them care, if the club goes belly up as none of them want the football, they just want the property. In fact, it would be substantially cheaper transaction without the need to bail the football club out. If you think otherwise, you don't understand the nature of the problem. 8) As I said at the start, I don't care who buys the club as long as it survives. 9) The League is a major obstacle, they need to get their a**es in gear and decide whether the deal is OK for them. Then pressure could reasonably be brought to bear on BIL. Whilst that is still outstanding, nothing will happen as the vendor Guilfoyle hasn't delivered what's required of him. 10) I suspect half the League blue-blood blazers needed to give the OK are still too busy sunning themselves in the Med or the Caribbean to be much bothered either way.
