Personally. I think it would be a 50/50 decision. At Cardiff he knows what he's got, and he knows he will have financial support. He also gets to do as he wants managerially. But with Everton he would pretty much have a top eight team (though if Fellaini left, I wouldn't be as sure). Anyway, if MM leaves, I wonder who we would look for; a young manager with potential, or an old warhorse?

I was being a little tongue in cheek on that, as Everton have also said they would like Martinez if Moyes left. But yeah, managers are a merry go round these days. Not much point getting worked up about it. I hope he stays, but life would go on if he left.

Just paper talk as the silly season has already started. However, if Malky was to leave Everton would be the minimum level of club he would go to. Anything less is potentially no bigger than us.
Definitely the start of the silly season from lazy journalists who never let the truth get in the way of a good story. We have another three months of this sort of nonsense to look forward to. This summer will be entertaining.
Would be a shame if he went as this is 'his' squad. If Everton do come calling we could have a problem there are an established PL side and no one could argue with the fact they're currently a better prospect than us. Where is Moyes going though? I think the 'considering his future' line could just be him trying to loosen the Everton purse strings. There isn't an obvious step up for him in the PL imo. As is said above, life goes on, but it wouldn't be ideal preperation for the PL by anyones standards.
I realy do not think Everton are a bigger club than us. Admittedly they have been in the top flight for donkey years but Moyes has worked wonders on a tight budget. If he leaves they wil need a top manager but I do not think MM will make a sidewards move...
Malky has got total control and full backing at Cardiff with funds to improve the squad, why would he give this dream job in the premiership to anyone else particularly as Everton are due to slide a little anyway. Right now he has Cardiff in his blood and that is the only way we want anyone at the club. The only thing missing with Cardiff was premiership football and now we have that, the way things are set up here it is one of the best jobs in football now. jck
At the moment, MM is having a big say in the general running of the club, the sports science, the accademy, scouting and recruitment, etc. If he feels that he is in a position to shape a club as it evolves he'll probably want to stay. How much influence will he have at Everton. Also, expectation will be lower at Cardiff than at Everton. Surviving next season will be fine where Everton are pushing to Champions League and might expect that after steady progress in the last few seasons. If MM takes over and he finishes mid-table will that be acceptable? He may not get a couple seasons to put his stamp on the side. I'll never say never, but he'll have a better ride with us than with Everton I feel.
I agree with most if not all of those points, but he reason I said Everton are a bigger club at the moment is the answer to a simple question; Which one of us or them is most likely to be relegated next season? I'm now having a discussion based on something started in the 'Daily mail' which is breaking an unwritten rule of mine. The paper is a ****ing rag and anything/everything written in can be assumed to bit total BS imo.
we're the ones with the money, everton can only get worse after moyes leaves, the next man in there is on a hiding to nothing, a bit like the sam allardyce bolton situation. i think everton will aim higher than malky anyway, so he wont need to reject them IMO. of course this is all guesswork by the papers, but thats my opinion there... taff, hate to say it to you mate but your talking rubbish there 'vI realy do not think Everton are a bigger club than us.' they are a much bigger club than us. they lack external funds, thats all.
Why is everyone assuming Moyes is leaving in the first place??? He hasn't said he is and SAF is going nowhere in a hurry.
