I think Denilson has been treated harsly by some of our fans. He has always given 100% for us and he operates in that thankless role of DM. I remember people saying the same thing about Gilberto a few seasons ago, then he left and we missed him badly. I'm not saying the same will happen with Denilson, I think Wilshere, Song and Frimpong will make that position theirs. But I don't like the snide comments about a player who was proud to pull on our shirt.

Sorry if this bucks the trend, but I am grateful for everything Denilson has given to us and wish him all the very best of luck in the future <ok>

Maybe he will come back to us full of confidence and as an even better player?... Maybe?

At last,a voice of reason when it comes to Denilson.I've said in the past how it's makes me laugh how fans treat Denilson like a pantomime villain whilst at the same time treating that lazy Russian twat like a God <ok>

I never hated Denilson but he never inspired me either. A 100% meh player. I'm sure he could do a reasonable role in some Prem teams playing a central midfield role.

A no frills player that never really made a meaningful impact for Arsenal. So the imposter pretending to be a Brazilian is going to play in Brazil? I think after 10 minutes they'll be chasing him out of the stadium :p

On a serious note, we have many quality central midfielders who can do a simular but better job than him and one name sticks out, and that is Ramsey. He is too good not to be playing and i think with him coming back from injury has probably effectively ended Denilsons Arsenal career.....

    Good luck to him though!
