I did say in threads earlier that i would be suprised to see Albert with us come the season start.

Shiny thought he would be, but you cannot stop the guy having a go at the prem and it seems Swansea have come calling with a host of prem teams watching the situation..

I think a deal could be on the cards regards Dobbie and Lita,I just have a hunch about this one.

Step up Yannick I really do think he can take Alberts place,in-fact I thought he looked the better of the two at the end of last season."step up son"

Or could we go after Mustapha Caroyl at the gas??

I would actually like to see us sign Carayol, think he has the potential to be very good. Just wonder whether the gas will ask stupid money for him.

But also.. Not sure if Adomah is actually ready for the prem yet imo. Could do with another season at this level.

Agree with Jambo and Red Robin - this is good money (just need to spend it wisely)

All relative I think. For less than £2m i'd agree completely, anything more than that and I don't see how we can turn it down. We could've sold Elliot for £3m odd after our first season to Wolves, not worth that now. Could've sold Maynard for £4m+ start of this season, got like £1.25m for him. If Del gets the £2m odd to spend I think it could make a real difference. Saying that I still can't believe we got £2m for Cotterill from Wigan a while back, poor buggers.

We got £1.6m for Maynard rising to £2m if West Ham got promoted, which they did..

Was it? On the West Ham forum a while back there was an interview with David Gold that I could swear said that they didn't pay anything extra if they went up this year, it was next year that we'd get extra money because they were confident of promotion. May have misread it though. Can't find the bloody link now, meh.

I really want us to keep Adomah for one more season.
I think he could really catch fire this term, and it would be very good for him to do so

I say sell him we have Bolasie to fill that position, then use the money to get a play maker in the middle, and Caroyl ;)

I think Muzzy will end up going to a decent Championship club - so that's you lot out of the equation!

He would jump at the chance of joining Bristol's premier team.

He is fully aware champ sides are looking at him.

Would he join us if we showed our cards 100% he would.

Sell Adomah now and re-invest the money immediately in a player that wants to come to AG and stay awhile. Adomah seemed to fit the mould of many of our signings in that he showed up when he felt like it, and spent the rest of his time running around in circles until he finally disappeared up his own backside. Enough said, let's move on!

Take it, good money - Yannick has power and pace and will become the better player when he learns to temper his aggression and not dive in...

Take the money.......as much as I like Albert, he is no where near a prem player and at best an average CCC player. I was chatting to Red or dead in work yesterday about him and he said even he could work out Alberts playing style, as did a lot of full backs towards the end of the season which is when he became less effective..........2 million or so would be absolutely excellent business for him. Can't see anyone paying the 2 to 3 million being touted around at the moment tho...
