To stay or not to stay that is a question I´m sure many of you would ask Paul Jewell, And Mr. Clegg too now that your position Is hardly one to make all blue fans drool, Looking from outside in it´s hard to fathom Just what the Jewell´s brought since he´s been there, You all hoped he could help to breach the chasm That before him had begun to appear, Now to us not involved at the Road Portman It would seem that the gulf is larger still, Between those performing and those supporting Since he has joined, with progress still downhill, His record hardly did give optimism But surely now Clegg too can see the light, Blind faith won´t do, time for some realism To have any chance to reach the top flight, One wonders what Sir Bob would make of this A club dear to his heart in disarray, A leader amongst thinkers and of bosses I can´t think he´d be lost for words to say, And personally I´m sad to see you scrapping Around the nether regions once again, I had hoped we might soon again be mapping A date out for ´the Derby´ for our men, And if this is a kind of ´in memoriam´ Then let it be for Clegg and Mr. Jewell, For with them it seems hard to see you glorying So perhaps they should challenge in a duel.
