Has Akos actually left the club , have i missed this one ?

I know he was offered a new deal but did he decline ?

He is not in the squad files and according to Sky he has been released !

As far as I am aware, a contract has been offered, but he's yet to sign or officialy be released.

He hasn't signed a new deal, ( One year extension. ) he's in limbo at the moment. Sign for QPR, and have limited oppotunities. ( Squad player ) Go elsewhere and play regular football for a lesser standard for less money. What would you do?

I reckon he'd benefit from staying for the pre-season and assessing where he is likely to fit into the plans.

MH didn't exactly exile him to Siberia (ie he was always pretty close/in the matchday squad) but with the players coming in it would be worth seeing how it goes (fully bearing in mind that the window is open for a long time yet).

its not looking like hes coming back. i know we have deadlines to new signings so perhaps its best if we told him he has until the end of the week or we will look for another midfielder.

Not even too sure why he got offerred an extension. Looked way off the pace and out of his depth when I saw him play - bar the Wigan game.

probably to keep some continuity. He will be 4th or 5th choice so wont play much. No point bringing in someone else to do that job who might be a complete arse.

Thats why we kept cerny, good backup, gets on well with everyone and wont moan but Im sure we could have found a better player, not necessarily a better choice.

Prefer to have a promising youngster to fill that ''bench warmer'' role then. Rather than someone on the wages of Buzz that's barely going to feature unless the entire midfield are struck down with swine flu.

I truly hope he doesn't sign up. It's Hughes' only mistake to date, offering him a new deal.
