Jody Morris says he is capable of taking over an attacking midfield roll and Buzsaky hasn't spoken to us since last week, never mind we've got plenty of time yet..

I'm just getting frustrated as all the quality players seem to be turning us down for others...

This is where I was worried about McInnes taking over. He's still a young manager and his experience is solely within Scotland. It's only natural that we've been in contact with every footballer with a name beginning with "Mc" and are getting ignored by others.

That being said, I'm surprised that we've not picked up some players from Portsmouth or Rangers on performance-related deals as I'd imagine they'd be quite cheap and McInnes would be known to the latter group.

I'd prefer to have some scouts out and around Europe looking for academy talent to bring back to Bristol, but I guess McInnes will work within his means and will sign whoever expresses an interest to play for us.

I would rather have a young manager myself than an older one, he will be more in touch with current players and will have played alongside a few (and know what he is getting for the clubs money) he obviously trusts Jody Morris to give back what he needs him to give..

Do not kid yourself that we would get players on any kind of deal other than a weekly wage PLUS performance related add ons. The modern day footballer, and in particular their agents are nothing more than merecenary's. Whist they will never publicly say it, they will privately be glad if these clubs go to the wall, so they can walk away from a club that has not paid them for ages, and then negotiate some good deal elsewhere as no money will be going to Pompey, so clubs can offer what was going to be a transfer fee in 'Incentives'.
