I think he expected a better offer. QPRBuzsaky left to consider future after Rangers make contract offer 17/05/2012 by David McIntyre Akos Buzsaky is considering his future after being*offered a one-year*contract by QPR. Several Championship clubs have expressed an interest in the Hungarian, who had hoped to be offered a longer-term deal with higher wages. Buzsaky, whose current contract ends this summer, made 21 appearances for the Râs last season, scoring two goals. Clint Hill, another Rangers player whose contract is about to expire, has also been told he will be offered a new deal. Probably fair given his performances and the direction we are going. Some will say that is a generous offer but I'm going with fair.
Straight away I'm having flashbacks to last Summer. Remember when we re-signed Raddy Cerny? Dan Shi*tu? And a load of other riff-raff? We got the sense then early on that all was not well. If that's already started this year, then we could all be in for a disappointing Summer. Buzsaky has been awful for us and if this is a sign of things to come then God help us.
Business being sorted early , Mackie extension , Buzz 12 monther and Hill probably the same. All makes sense to me.
This for me. We can't change the whole squad, will still be plenty of players leaving. Not to bad with players like Buz making up the final numbers. And for his two stunners this season a one year extension seems a fair reward.
Very surprised, simply not good enough at this level. I'm with Swords on this and a little concerned.
He will be backup and is ok as that. I suppose we will try and have some continuity and there are much bigger needs than backup CM like 2 GK, 2 CBs and a CF.
He might not accept it if he gets a better offer elsewhere. He might think he has a better chance of regular football by dropping down a league. I can also see one of the newly promoted sides coming in for him. The fake hoops have been keen to take our ex players of late.
I knew that was still happening. God knows how many times people are reading him thinking its me. He has me by the short and curly's
Get your own back.....change your name to swords hopppster and people will read you thinking its him being you!
MH will continue to work with what i think is a very good creative footballer so put on your hot pants and dance Pork!
Pretty poor decision if true. Now is the time to get rid of the fringe players thats contracts are up. The line 'Several Championship clubs have expressed an interest' Just about sums up the level of Buz for me.
I'd just like to add, Buzz was a smashing player for us back in the day and I'll never forget the screamers he scored, including the two this season. He was a real Rangers-type player when he was at his peak. I just think its time to go to a different level.
