Identical to this in form: Recon MH has been coaching him 1:1 or closely? Also, I found this video of Buz and it's really interesting. He was so confident when he was younger. I wish he could regain that confidence. Look:
He was the hearbeat of our team for his first couple of seasons, obviously injury's have hampered him but he's immensely talented, especially at shooting
I don't think it was just injuries. He had a big dip in confidence at some point and is only just recovering this season. Hopefully it will keep going up!
Sparky loves him and recognises talent. I expect him to score for us against the Brom. The White Pele is yet to show us his best. Great vids awjm.
I love the guy - he's up there with Adel, Langley, Sinclair, Ferdinand (Sir Les not Anton) and Wegerle in terms of my favourites. I'd still play Derry against West Brom but I'd pick Buzz in the next home game against Spurs.
Powerful and accurate shooter and thus pretty rare talent - I think Sparky is working with him on past weaknesses in his game, accurate passing and not getting caught in possession in the middle of a park. To have Buzz the complete player would be a massive bonus for us going forward
They are and it was one of the key improvements highlighted by the team. I'd also add in relation to volleys that JB's was a great effort from the corner and bizarrely didn't even get a replay on sky or MOTD! It was noticeable they we tried a couple if different corners against the swans which was refreshing.
It is also worth bearing in mind that Buzsaky has played so few games over the last 3 or 4 seasons that he must be a long way off match sharpness. He is one that many of us thought was good enough for this level, maybe with some more matches under his belt he will show it. That said I’d still play Derry today, this is a match not to lose.
It's noticeable that Buz's resurgence has come as a result of transforming his game from creative mid to something a bit more defensive. That started earlier this season in rare opportunities under Warnock. Like Mackie, another passionate R who's determined to rise to the occasion and make his presence felt in the premier league. Whilst Buz has clearly benefitted from Mark Hughes' regime, he's always had that shooting ability... but his confidence is clearly growing
Yeah, it was a half volley but I was referring to a really close attempt in the first half. If you find the replay you'll see how close his form is to MH's. Yes, I'd play Derry today but Buz should be on the bench for sure. Play Buz against Tott.
