I work in Leeds so any chance to get one over on them is good for me - Welcome to the Senior Members club with your next post
I remember my Senior Member post, I wanted to post something profound and impressive..................I failed
With this click, I lift myself above the norm, no longer a mere member, but a man of seniority. I should've said something like that rather than...yey!
Hopefully we won't under perform like Man City! And I hope, with all due respect that we stuff Saints twice this season, All I've heard for the last 3 seasons is how they sent us down in 2008, as I live about 10 minutes from Southampton!
Sven has spent a grand total on transfer fees 1M 250K Bamba 750K Peltier It hardly Man City. But the wage bill is very high and in the long term unsustainable in this league
Hey if: £1.00m / £1.25m possibly on a Goalkeeper £750K On a Right back and £250K On a previous season Cent Def is................ AKA as Man City then I'm the Pied piper. Now follow me...
You've sussed us - we should instead try and build a successful team by organic growth from our youth team, like Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, ... hope the irony doesn't get lost in translation...
WHO GIVES A SH*T. If, as a person you have money you buy expensive things. If a club has money & IT IS the clubs to spend then let them spend it. It´s football in this day & age, rich people buying them & giving the club transfer money of course your going to use it. What´s the point of the Chelsea, Man City, QPR, Wolves & even the Leicester owners buying the clubs if he ain´t going to give money for new players. If you buy a house that´s not how you like it you´ll spend money on it. IT`S HOW THE WORLD WORKS.
Not so sure the wage bill is that high. The only players on stonking wages would have been the loanees and as these are no longer associated with the club we are actually saving big numbers since our season ended at the back end of April.
