ARSENAL midfielder Henri Lansbury is being lined up for a £2million move to Norwich.

But Canaries boss Paul Lambert may have to settle for getting the England Under-21 star on loan again.

Lansbury, 20, wants to stay at Arsenal but is set to be loaned outeven if he signs a new deal at the Emirates.

It's the Sun so 90% likely to be rubbish but not much going on at this time of the season so have to post it anyway. Think we have got plenty of midfielders now but if we were to get him for £2m then that is certainly a bargain! Surely they wouldn't sell him for that would they?

I think I may have been a bit kind to The Sun when saying 90% likely to be rubbish.

Though it would be nice, this defiantly isnt going to happen, our attacking and midfield department is now complete and he moves on towards defence and goalkeeper, thats if he has anyone lined up for either position...

He would also command a much bigger fee than £2mil...

I have no insider information, but I imagine and effort is ongoing into Henri Lansbury. He is perfect for this squad and if every position needs a backup where's wes' backup if he gets injured? We need competition in all areas and if it's a loan or permanent I think this deal will happen. Benefits everyone.

A keeper and a defender(lambert mentioned yesterday) are probably on the way too. So peeps should relax on that front.

I would also add, the rate at which Arsenal are selling players I would feel uncomfortable with HL as a loan player who could be re-called at a moments notice by Wenger.

The sun were right about Pilkington, so you never know.

Like Thai says they are selling a lot of players, so there is a lot dynamic elements are Arsenal. i think we'd all love to have him back to add to an already impressive midfield squad

    Maybe a loan in Jan.

Pilks and bennett can play behind the front 2 if needed, i would have him back in a flash but i think the money we would spend on him could be spent on a defender or gk, we have enough for midfield now...

Andrew Surman managed to get into the team of the season last term - despite missing the first third through injury. I'd suggest he too could dep for Wes if needed, plus he has some premiership experience, unlike most of our squad.

If Snodgrass is worth £8m, Lansbury must surely be worth at least £3.5 - 4m ?

if we really have bid £2M then it is likely that we value him for at least £4M, we are hardly going to offer our top price first time up. i can see him being worth in excess of £12M within two years so could be an excellent piece of business.

I don't think there's any way lambert wouldn't be at least keeping tabs on Lansbury. If lambert sees and opportunity to bring him in I don't believe he will turn his nose up at it, if the opportunity is there we'll make him ours.

It's in arsenals court, I'd love to have him, but we can survive without him

Lansbury wants games and won t be happy on the Gunners bench so a move could be on, 2mil????????.... Bloody cheap as Champions lg teams need a few English players in their squad.... The only down side would be, if we didn t stay up he would be straight off... Another loan is quite likely
